Mother Earth Stone Healing

My work with LaStone Therapy, the original hot stone massage, has evolved into an expression I call Mother Earth Stone Healing. This technique is a nurturing, healing, releasing form of bodywork suited to anyone wishing to connect with mother earth and her energy.

In a Mother Earth Stone Healing session, you will be completely enveloped in the warmth and energy of the mother. Basalt stones are used, lava stones given to us from the core of mother earth. The stones are heated and are placed on the table for you to lie on. Stones are placed on chakra points on your abdomen, chest and third eye. Hot stones are then tucked around your entire body and covered to retain the heat. My part is to connect with the mother, hold space and perform energy work as needed.

Clients have been able to release energy into the stones, take energy from the mother into themselves, and many times both occur in the same session. Each session is unique, depending entirely upon the needs of your body/mind/spirit at any given time. All report a feeling of being cradled in the warm heart of mother earth.
